These are not my newest, but I've put most of my art into storage until the opt-out button is installed for those of us who desire to opt out of the new "Share Feature". Yes, I too am one who wants no part of putting her art on the social networking sites, and though I do realize that it can end up there anyway, I'd like for that process to not be made any more convenient for those who might want to "share" my art with such sites without asking me first. Call such an opinion whatever you will, it's how I feel. Right, wrong, or sideways, this is what I've chosen to do for now....and I hope you all can understand, at least a little. Thanks much to all my watchers, and supporters--I, along with many others, hope that this issue is resolved amicably soon.....

Waiting For An Opt-Out Button....

PLEASE DO READ....

Just a note to everyone who watches my journal, or visits my main page, that I've put most of my art into storage until the issue of an opt-out button for the new "Share Feature" is resolved. I'm not at all pleased with the fact that there is no choice of opting out of this new feature, and many others I know on this site feel the same way. I'm not all "up in arms", but neither am I pleased or happy with the situation. So, most of my art is now in storage until the matter is settled, and I do hope that that happens quickly, and peaceably. There seem to be many hard feelings within certain parties, and name-calling, and behaviors that simply should not be named among any of us, no matter what position we hold on this site--admin, artist, viewer, etc. So I'm hoping that cooler heads will prevail, as should be amongst adults, and that things will be resolved without any more adverse behaviors.

I will say this much--the fact that this new feature was added without asking any of us how we felt about it first is a mystery to me, since other new features have had announcements beforehand, and have been checked with the community first, to see if the features were wanted. I CAN understand why a number of people do want this new feature, but what I'm saying is, a lot of us others don't want it, and would be most pleased with an opt-out button option, at least. That really should not be too much to ask, and should not inconvenience anyone who does want to use the new feature for their art. 'Nuff said.....

Hey lady! Just stickin' my head in to say hi! Hope you're doing ok! I'm still busy with school and will be until after October 1st. arg. I'm trying to keep up with notes and wall posts but that's about all I can do. I've had to turn everything off for now since I'm not hardly on these days. I did want to say hi though! Ok.... it's after 5am now and I've been up all night again. arg. I think I might should get a few hours sleep before I start studying again. TTYL!
